What are User Reviews?
User Reviews are a chance for industry contestants to feel like a label executive. Each week, all the new albums will be posted on this page with accompanying links to rate each. By inputting your details in the attached form, you may rate that album. You may rate as many albums per week as possible, but you may only rate each album once - and you cannot rate your own albums. At the end of the season, your scores will be combined with the scores of other players to create an official "User Score".
Legacy Reviews
A Legacy Review is the review of an album from past seasons before Metacritic exists. If you would like to submit your album for a legacy review, please leave the album title and tracklist in the comments below. They will then be available for review by both critics and users for the remaining duration of the current season. All season 7 releases are eligible by default.
What albums are Eligible?
Standard edition full-length album releases and extended plays are eligible for album reviews. Deluxe edition releases, re-issues or compilation records are not. Eligible albums will be open for User Reviews for the duration of one full part-season.
