FAMILY & EARLY LIFE

Born on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to Jim and Judy Moore, Alecia Beth Moore (known professionally as P!nk) has always been musically talented. Singing, performing and playing various musical instruments through her childhood, the gift of music helped her through the warzone atmosphere of her parents’ marital issues and eventual divorce. At sixteen, P!nk left home looking for a path of entry into the music industry. P!nk spent eighteen years in the industry researching, writing songs, performing and doing whatever she needed to get by, and her breakthrough came when she signed to Interscope Records in 2013. Now, P!nk – happily married to husband Carey Hart – has patched up any differences with her parents, and has birthed two children of her own; Willow Sage and Jameson Moon Hart.

PERSONAL

Signed to Interscope Records in early 2013, P!nk finally achieved the big break she long-sought after. Not before long, she released two back-to-back hit singles – ‘Fuck Off (But Text Me Later)’ & ‘Whatever Happened to the Heroes’ – followed up with her début studio effort; ‘Personal’. Executively produced by Linda Perry, P!nk looks back on this record with nothing but adoration, respect and love for her true career beginnings.

MIND GAMES

Leaving Interscope Records behind, P!nk joined Capitol Records in early 2014 after a collaboration with label CEO, Katy Perry, and fellow recording artist, Kelly Clarkson (‘White Flower’). Her first project under Capitol Records, P!nk released the Iggy Azalea feature, ‘Spark’, as her comeback single before capitalising on its hype with second studio album, ‘Mind Games’, executively produced by Linda Perry.

BLAZING HARTS

P!nk thought she had moved onto bigger and better things when she was signed to Mercury Records in 2016. Throughout the turbulent recording process, P!nk fought hard for her creative freedom, and eventually released ‘Detonation’ and follow-up singles ‘On the Road’, ‘Rose Petals’ and ‘Late Nights’. Engrossed in a drawn-out argument with label CEO, Marina Diamandis, P!nk dropped the Tim Armstrong-produced record, ‘Blazing Harts’, before buying herself out from her contract. What was meant to be a fun record became “a hell I never want to experience ever again”, she claims.

RCA RECORDS

Not wanting to repeat her past experiences, P!nk considered re-auditioning for a spot on the Interscope Records artist roster. However, something had changed within her since first record. Instantly, she decided that the only entity who could control her would be herself. Launching RCA Records in late-2017, P!nk took her new role with the utmost dedication. One year later, RCA is hailed as a power player within the industry, responsible for the career breakthroughs of Perrie Edwards, Kylie Minogue, Madonna and more.

SHIPWRECKED

P!nk’s first record under her self-led label, RCA Records. Her fourth studio album ‘Shipwrecked’ was released in early-2018 and spawned four number-one singles. Executively produced by Max Martin, this record surpassed all expectations of fans, critics and P!nk herself. Now a favorite amongst fans, ‘Shipwrecked’ secured both P!nk and RCA Records as power-players within the industry.

FOREVER PERSONAL

P!nk openly states that she’s not the type of artist who disowns or diminishes their past records or accomplishments. While she does concede that parts of her career could have gone better, she still respects her past work as much as her present. For the five-year anniversary of her début album, ‘Personal’, P!nk thought it would be a special treat for her fanbase if she recorded the album once-again with an updated sound. Re-uniting with former producer Linda Perry, P!nk released ‘Forever Personal’ in late-2018.
